Why Not Plural?

| That is fine. However why the plural? If they are
"NOT gods" then the who are the "gods"? It is
implied that there ARE gods.
Think about it. What they are _not_ is _gods_. This makes theoi to mean REAL gods, for if theoi has reference to those who are "not gods" then they are _not_ "not gods" and that makes no sense at all! Sincerely, |
